Bueno

Privacy

Last updated 18 September 2026

Bueno tells you which company owns a brand. Doing that does not require knowing who you are, so it mostly doesn’t. This page says exactly what is collected, what is kept on your own device, and who else ever sees anything.

You do not need an account. Scanning, search and every ownership record work without one. There is no advertising, no third-party analytics, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing. Your scan history stays on your phone whether you sign in or not.

The website

If you give us your email

The only thing this site asks for is an email address, and only if you type one into the form. It is stored in our database and used for one thing: telling you when the app is available. You can ask us to delete it at any time and we will.

What happens whether or not you do

The app

What the app sends us

If you make an account

An account is optional. It exists so that a Bueno Premium subscription follows you to a new phone, and nothing else in the app requires one.

If you subscribe

Apple handles the payment. We never see your card, your billing address or your Apple ID. What we store against your account is the record needed to know that you are subscribed:

You can cancel at any time in your Apple account settings; the app links straight there. Deleting your Bueno account deletes this record with it.

Who else sees anything

There are no advertising networks, no data brokers and no analytics SDKs in either the app or the site.

How long it is kept

Children

Bueno is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

Your choices

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting something this page says we do not.
